The New York Police and Fire Retiree Association was incorporated in 1978. At the present time, there are approximately 1400 paid members in our ranks. The membership is comprised of retired and active police officers and firefighters from paid departments primarily in
Westchester County and Long Island, but also throughout the State Of New York.
Active police officers and firefighters are encouraged to join.

The NYPFRA is a loud voice of the present and future

officers and firefighters, especially in the area
of retiree legislation both beneficial and detrimental
to their retirement.
